The Color of Wonder
The color of wonder in the alternation of time
Acquired variety
The raven of imagination in the expanse of thought
Was lost in sorrow
New creation mingled with eternity
And schemed conspiracies
The breeze started from the base of wisdom
And began to blow on the sea of lust
Fragrance came out from the shroud of flower
And called the intoxicated butterfly to dance
Color, from the store of petals
Started to sell love
And the dew was born to the wind mother and elements of air
And rested in a cradle of green
Its short life
Was stolen by the morning breeze and the warm ray of sunshine
The tulip with a cup in hand
Waiting for the goddess of pregnancy
Survived in the foothill until it could no more
The rain turned into flood
Until it reached the ocean
The thunder roared so much
That its drum broke and its sound turned vagabond
At times the little birds laughed
And at other moments they cried
The thoughtful fox
Looked at everything
And then with a shrill yip
Claimed thus:
They, even frightened away
The bird of my wonder.
